Jennie Hembery

 

 Steven and I have been married for nearly 40 years and have two daughters, Rebecca (Becky) who is 34 and Sarah 31.

We will have been at Leigh Road Baptist Church, Leigh - on- Sea, Essex, for 12 years. We were previously at Crawley in West Sussex for 11years and in Hammersmith West London for three years.

I have had various jobs and roles over the past 26 years that Steven has been in Ministry, including church book-keeper (pre computerised systems being set up) and office administrator.   Since being at Leigh I have had various roles including part-time manager of the church coffee house, admin assistant to our previous Associate Minister, cleaner of kitchens, general dogsbody and all round giver of blood!!!  After all that my friends tell me I am still sane!
